What I do is start with an audit. In that audit report, I list all the recommendations based on the goals we discussed, and then I can go in and actually implement those recommendations for you.

If you've already looked at my audit report service, this actually starts out the same way, because any SEO service really needs to begin by understanding what's already in place. We start with an intake call so that I can get to know you, your business, your business goals, and your ideal client. Those are all pivotal pieces of information for an SEO specialist to do any quality work.

Then, I complete a full, comprehensive SEO audit of your website—and your Google My Business profile if you’re a local business. From there, we have a follow-up call where I go over the whole audit report. The difference here is that I also implement those changes for you.

I offer my services in a flexible way. It could be just a month-long project, or it could be a three-month project. You can decide how long you want the contract to be. We could do it month-to-month and see how it's going, or you could sign a three-month contract and then renew or not renew as needed.

Some clients just want a one-month contract so I can go in, implement as much as possible in that time, and then finish out the month with a report stating what I did and any progress toward the goals we established. Others want me to spend more time, so I have both one-month and three-month contract options that can be renewed as needed.

Some people aren’t sure, so they start with a one-month contract and extend from there—but it’s totally up to you how you want to do it.

I will tell you, though, SEO takes time. Even if we’ve implemented everything, you might not start to see big changes for about three months, sometimes longer. It just takes time. So if you do a one-month contract, we might not see measurable growth yet—but check back in three, four, or five months to see if you’re getting more traffic from organic searches. That’s a better indicator of progress.

That’s also why a three-month contract can be nice—you can see the gradual progression, and I can track that over time, especially for the search terms we’re optimizing for.
